George E MitchellGeorge E. Mitchell is an assistant professor of political science at the City College of New York and a Moynihan research fellow at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He holds a PhD in political science and MAs in economics and political science from Syracuse University, a BS in economics from West Virginia University and a certificate in political psychology from Stanford University. He has been a research analyst in Dubai, UAE, a consultant in Washington, DC, and a Wikipedia teaching fellow, Goekjian scholar, teaching associate and research assistant in Syracuse, NY. His current research, based on data from the Moynihan Institute's Transnational NGO Interview Project, combines exploratory statistics and computer-aided qualitative analysis to understand how transnational NGO leaders conceptualize their organizations' roles in world affairs.
